Register & Report

CARB requires certain businesses to register equipment and file periodic reports. Below are the most common tools our clients use:

DOORS – Database for Off‑Road Reporting & Status: Register and report off‑road equipment inventories such as construction or agricultural machinery. Learn more.

Air Pollution Complaints: Report smoke, excessive emissions or other violations. Anyone can submit a complaint through the CARB portal.
Prescribed Fires: Agencies, land owners and contractors conducting controlled burns can use CARB’s smoke management reporting system.

How can I dispute a citation?
